Quote I am considering this week

“Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come” Victor Hugo

What idea have you been sitting on?
What has been tapping away at your soul begging to be birthed, to be brought to life?
What idea can you empower today?

Poetry to indulge in

Venus in Pisces has got me feeling all kinds of romantic. Allow yourself just a tiny moment in time to dive in to some heartfelt words just for the pure joy of it. Lose yourself for a minute in this classic piece of seductive poetry…

Love’s Philosophy – Percy Bysshe Shelley

The fountains mingle with the river
And the rivers with the ocean,
The winds of heaven mix for ever
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single;
All things by a law divine
In one spirit meet and mingle.
Why not I with thine?—

See the mountains kiss high heaven
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister-flower would be forgiven
If it disdained its brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth
And the moonbeams kiss the sea:
What is all this sweet work worth
If thou kiss not me?

If poetry doesn’t do it for you find another way to immerse yourself in some dreamy, deep feeling goodness

and One More Thing

FULL MOON in Virgo – 27 February – 08:17 GMT

We traditionally think of Virgo as this very logical, practical, systematic, consistent, diligent perfectionist.  It’s an earth sign with a way of doing things that feels responsible and grounded. She acts with a lot of care and attention to detail and may be deemed reserved and shy. We might be mistaken for thinking this energy could be lacking in vitality or joy…

But then we are missing a larger and more crucial piece of the Virgo story

Virgo’s symbol is the maiden or virgin – removed from the association with sexuality – this is a beautiful symbol of wholeness of self.  In Greek translations, virgin means “one unto herself”. The virgin denotes a certain level of self-containment and self-sufficiency which speaks to a strength in independence and an ability to work hard for themselves and follow their own path. There is a calm and power that comes along with the energy of this diligence.

So with this Full Moon I invite you to think not necessarily of structures, routine or traditional Virgo traits but instead to call in the wholeness of this Moon in connection to your body and find within you that sense of strength, self-efficacy and independence.

You are whole of yourself always

Reflect on these questions for this Full Moon

🌕Where do I give my power away to others?
🌕Where and why do I abandon myself?
🌕How can I call back in these parts of myself that may be outwith my body?
