Poem I am resonating with…
when i go home i tell my mother
the men outside are starving
she tells me
i must not dress with my breasts hanging
said the boys will get hungry if they see fruit
said i should sit with my legs closed
like a woman oughta
or the men will get angry and fight
said i can avoid all this trouble
if i just learn to act like a lady
but the problem is
that doesn’t even make sense
i can’t wrap my head around the fact
that i have to convince half the world’s population
my body is not their bed

I have been approached recently by men who have totally objectified me, dehumanised me in many ways…asking me for sex while knowing barely anything about me…not even asking my name but asking if I would sleep with them. There is something so deeply saddening about this. That certain men approach owning their masculinity in this way. It reminds me how much healing there is happening on this planet. And how now more than ever finding the balance of divine masculine + feminine within us is so crucial. It is a journey of self-empowerment – healing my own wounds from sexual abuse has made me sensitive to these shadows. I am still reflecting for myself. With my Venus in Leo I am sure there is more to come.
There is so much beautiful work being done in this space and healing sexual wounds is a huge task for the collective right now with everything that has been brought to light over the past years but especially this year. Be kind and gentle with yourselves in this space.

Don’t get me wrong, I love diving deep into the emotional waters of Cancer (Cancer Moon here!) AND some of my best friends are Cancers but WOW I am so ready for this injection of fiery, creative Leo energy!
While Cancer season asked us to do the inner work, reveal the shadows and heal those wounds – Leo invites us to bring our energy outwards again. To show up in the world, to reveal our new selves and not hold back from our authentic self-expression.
It is a time to take action, to kickstart those new projects and to relish in the attention and spotlight that comes with radiating our truth.
It is a time to tap into our magnetism, to not be afraid to be the star of the show on this stage of life. We are here to LIVE, not to hide in the shadows and Leo energy is the perfect friend to support us in pulling us out of the dark and into the light.
Leo loves attention…so be sure it’s the right kind. Show up for what you are truly passionate about and what really lights you up as whatever you choose to express right now will be amplified…let it be your deepest, most honourable truth.
