Quote I am connecting with this week

“There is a moment of grace, of knowing, with the recognition of the fruit of faith, that something greater does exist, and for a moment you were part of it – and its memory holds you in wonder and worship, and you never forget” Saint Sing

Poem I cherish

WILD GEESE by Mary Oliver

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting —
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.

and One More Thing

The now moment is always a perfect time for self-reflection.

I invite you to take a moment to think about your short-term plans for the day and your big dreams and goals for your whole life and answer these questions. Try not to think too long or hard just write whatever comes instantly.

Is this something I really want to do?
Is it something I enjoy doing?
Am I likely to enjoy it in the foreseeable future?
Is the price I – and others – will have to pay worth it?
Will I be able to live with myself if I accomplish it?

Wishing these are all an easy ‘Yes!’ for you…

If not, then now is the perfect time to stop what you are doing, take a breath and reassess. You always have a choice to change course, to pick a new path, to go in a new direction. Every single second is an opportunity for a fresh start.
