The Power Of Fresh Eyes + Beginner’s Clarity
We have just been plunged into fresh new astrological energy with last week’s eclipse, and one of the most celebrated new beginnings will soon be upon us as the clock ticks over to 1 January 2022 in just a few short weeks
It is a beautiful time to anchor into a beginner’s perspective. Often on our healing, or business journey, we get tied up in deepening, strengthening, growing and becoming wiser, more learned and more expansive. But taking the beginner’s perspective asks us to forget all that has come before, to put to one side the years of attuned intuition and our developed inner sense and instead attempt to see things exactly as they are in this now moment
This is often where the clarity is borne
Sometimes our confusion or inability to know what the next step is, is not to do with lack of connection to self, lack of signs from the universe (this is never the case!), or inability to hear our own intuition…but rather because we are TOO CLOSE
We are too close to ourselves
Too close to what we *feel* is the right way, even if the evidence is saying otherwise
Too close to the way we *believe* our path should be unfolding
Too close to the subconscious fears and safety nets we actually need to fall through in order to get to the clarity we seek
Adopting the beginner’s perspective confronts us with the question…
“If I were brand new to this situation, what would I *really* do?”
It’s tough! It’s incredibly challenging, even with all of our self-awareness work and tools we have at our fingertips, to actually create true objectivity when it comes to our own lives
This is why I constantly invest in mentors, coaches and healers who can offer me a new perspective on my current reality
I battled through so much of my journey teaching myself, reading books, being in one-to-many classrooms but the true shifts always come to me when I have a human mirror sitting in front of me (often on Zoom 😉) inviting me to see things my own sneaky lens won’t let through
