Quote I am enjoying

“As in geology, so in social institutions, we may discover the causes of all past change in the present invariable order of society. The greatest appreciable physical revolutions are the work of the light-footed air, the stealthy-paced water, and the subterranean fire… We are independent of the change we detect. The longer the lever the less perceptible its motion. It is the slowest pulsation which is the most vital. The hero then will know how to wait, as well as to make haste. All good abides with him who waiteth wisely” – Henry David Thoreau

We truly don’t yet know the outcome of the place we are currently in in history, maybe we will never know. Wisdom comes from understanding this and making our own choices on how and when to take action and when to hold fire. For many this is a time to hold fire, to reflect, to go inwards…for others who have already been through a great undoing it might be a signal of where to take action. Only you can know this.

Book to escape with…

Last week I spoke of escapism, if you’re looking for something to read that is unrelated to personal development/spirituality/COVID-19 then look no further than ‘The Starless Sea’ byErin Morgenstern

A beautiful story exploring a magical realm beneath the surface of the earth. It is spectacularly imaginative and takes you on a voyage through a wonderfully well-conceived fictional landscape centering on the Starless Sea, with guest characters including Fate and Time and stories woven within stories. I loved it!

She also wrote ‘The Night Circus’ another great novel to check out if you want to read fiction right now.

Get it HERE

PS I am not affiliated with this book or Amazon in any way – I just love the book and Amazon is the easiest place to grab hold of it

and One More Thing

Tarot Card of the Day – The Sun

I pulled The Sun from the Rider-Waite Tarot deck in response to the question….‘How Can I Create Sacred Space For Harmony To Thrive And Flourish?’

The Sun card has a beautifully simple meaning here…it represents joy, success, celebration and positivity. It is the giver of life, the ultimate source of vitality, it brings clarity and understanding of Truth, it pierces through darkness and energises us with its light.

We create sacred space when we bring light and joy. Positivity and feelings of gratitude, luck and abundance all help raise the vibration of a space and balance any heaviness or more dense energies.

In this moment we are riding huge waves of emotion collectively. We are all feeling it.

In order for a sense of harmony to thrive and flourish let’s create space where laughter can happen, where miracles are acknowledged and where the little acts of kindness are celebrated and praised loudly.

…and finally…

I have been enjoying the sunshine here in London, Spring has truly sprung! With Easter upon us, regardless of your religious beliefs, it is a beautiful moment to celebrate the abundance of life and magic both of nature and in all the wonderful humans supporting each other and making the best of what is a wild time in human history.
